Today my sis-in-law, Rowena, called. She had a great announcement: She’s pregnant again!
I am so happy for her and Danny. I mean, it’s maybe a month ago she told us they decided to have another child. So it really happened very quickly.
As the pregnancy is still in the beginning fase Danny and Rowena didn’t tell their 3 year old daughter Sarissa yet. As soon as the 1st 3 months have passed they will tell her.
Tomorrow Ries will finally get his custom made tatoo. It’s a Capricorn, as it’s his sign of the Zodiac. When the tatoo artist finishes the tatoo he will tear the drawing as he made it especially for Ries. I am so curious about the tatoo.
Actually I wanted to come with him, but that’s impossible, as my brother-in-law Sander will come with him. Our car doesn’t have a backseat. Sander is having his excisting tatoo extended tomorrow.
I am working on a new tagboard right now. I found a php script with some great features: ip logging, ip banning, automatic installation of the script, filters and lots more.
I managed to get the script installed on my server, it works, all I need to do is to make a template for my site.

Today I was tidying up the house as my parents came by for a visit. Ries was still sleeping, as he had a nightshift last night.
At about 1 pm I decided to vacuum clean the livingroom and the stairs. As I vacuum cleaned before when Ries had a nightshift, and he never complained about the noise while he was asleep, I thought it wouldn’t do any harm.
So when I was vacuuming the stairs he got up and went downstairs. I finished vacuuming and went down to the kitchen and asked Ries if he wanted to have a coffee. He told me angrily he would make it himself, as he was angry with me about the noise!! I told him I always vacuum when he’s asleep after a nightshift, and he never hears me. I mean, he never complained about it. He was still angry, so I got pissed off, and started vacuuming again. I didn’t pay any attention to him anymore. About 5 mins later he left to go sleep again.

This morning I let in Pugsley, as he was out all night. He ran to the kitchen and started eating like a madman. I went upstairs to do some laundry.
When I was stil upstairs I heard Ries screaming something like: “Fucking cat! Get out! Go way you fuck!”. So I went down to see what was wrong. It turned out Pugsley ate too quickly and puked out everything in his stomach. it really looked horrible.
As I noticed some grass in the puke, I guess he first ate some grass, then he went to sit near the window waiting for me to let him in. Stupid cat!

Yesterday I bought myself a digital camera. I wanted to have one for a little while. When I go out, I would like to take some pics and upload them to my website.
Last Sunday for instance, Ries and I were very bored, so we decided to take a ride. So we crossed the Leleystad Dyke and went towards Emmeloord. We passed a hughe park of windmills owned by Nuon. It really looks amazing all those windmills. At that moment I wished I had a digital camera.
We decided to drive all the way to Leeuwarden and then cross the dyke towards Den Helder. Our geography isn’t that great at all. So when we passed by Drachten we somewhere had to turn left. Somehow we didn’t see the sign, or we were too busy talking. We missed the turn and didn’t notice it until we were only 4 kilometers from Groningen! We were very surprised about this.
Then I found out we had a map with us all the time, so I tried to figure out how this could happen, what’s most important: how to get back home!
Well, I really wanted to make a pic of Ries’ face when I told him we were approaching Groningen instead of Leeuwarden.
So yesterday I decided to buy a digital camera. I bought just a simple 1.2 Mpix camera, as I only want to use it for the web. It’s a Canon Powershot A100

Last Friday Ries called me at work. He told me I had to take Pugsley and go visit the VET when I came home.
The day before we noticed his eyed was inflamed. It was all wet and Pugs looked a little silly.
And Friday his eye was very set on.
So when I came home I checked out his eyes. Both were set on and reddish. But it didn’t look very badly. his eyes weren’t dirty. Just a little wet and set on.
I decided to wait 1 day, as I need to go to the VET by car, and I don’t have a drivers licence. Ries has got one, but he had to work til 10 pm.
The next day the swellings were gone. So no need to go to the VET.
