The painting is going ahead slowly. First I planned to paint the wall wich starts in the corridor and goes to the first and second floor.
But when mom and I finished painting this wall there was a whole bucket of paint left, so I decided to paint the all the walls of the corridor as well.
friday we finished painting the stairs to the second floor, but it was only the basic paint. Now we need to sand the stairs slightly and then we can paint it in the final colors.
After we finished the stairs to the second floor we need to do the stairs to the first floor. Unfortunately I only had 1 week off, so we need to finish the painting on Tuesdays (when I have my weekly day off) and in the weekends.
The work is going ahead slowly, but we decided not to hurry things and take our time, as we want the work to be done properly!

Today I was tidying up the house as my parents came by for a visit. Ries was still sleeping, as he had a nightshift last night.
At about 1 pm I decided to vacuum clean the livingroom and the stairs. As I vacuum cleaned before when Ries had a nightshift, and he never complained about the noise while he was asleep, I thought it wouldn’t do any harm.
So when I was vacuuming the stairs he got up and went downstairs. I finished vacuuming and went down to the kitchen and asked Ries if he wanted to have a coffee. He told me angrily he would make it himself, as he was angry with me about the noise!! I told him I always vacuum when he’s asleep after a nightshift, and he never hears me. I mean, he never complained about it. He was still angry, so I got pissed off, and started vacuuming again. I didn’t pay any attention to him anymore. About 5 mins later he left to go sleep again.

Tomorrow my parents will visit us. (actually today, but as I am still up, and didn’t sleep yet, for me it’s still Saturday) They will be there at about 3 pm. I was glad they won’t come earlier, as I need time to tidy up the house.
Our house isn’t that need, as we both work all week. I am too tired to tidy up when I come home from work. So this needs to be done in the weekends. But we also need to relax, so most of the time we just do most necessary jobs.
Today I didn’t do much, just the laundry. So I really need time to fix things tomorrow.
Actually I wanted to do a lot tonight, so I can do other stuff tomorrow. But somehow I got stuck at the pc again, just surfing around the internet, visiting some stupid sites, and visiting some forums I didn’t visit for a while.
Now I really need to go to sleep, as I need to get up in time to tidy up the house.
