Next Sunday Fresh and I will leave Berlin for spending christmas with my family in Holland. Since it’s hard to find someone to take care of our pets at this time of the year, we will take Shanny, our dog with us.
Just like every time we are visiting Holland we are short in time since so many things have to be done before leaving Berlin :s At the beginning of this week I thought I had everything concerning the housekeeping under control. I really hate it coming home in a chaos, so the appartment had to be cleaned, all laundry had to be washed (I am kind of lazy in washing laundry * blush *), christmas shopping had to be done. But now it’s Friday, and when I am looking around I see I must clean again, I am washing the last laundry, need to doo the dishes and after it I need to clean the kitchen, need to buy the last grocaries so I can make some sandwiches for Sunday, we are still wrtiting the last bills for the business so they can be sent to our customers before the end of the year, tonight we have to go to the other side of Berlin so we can give the housekey to someone who will drop by to feed Pugsley, our cat, because we cannot take him with us.
I know, we’ve got tomorrow as well, but we planned to go see Fresh’s family since we’re spending christmas in Holland. So tomorrow is gone as well.  It’s a bit stressy right now, but I think somehow we will manage everything…

We are at home again..Tuesday September 12 we left for a week of Holland to surprise my dad with a birthdayvisit since he was having his birthday at September 13.
The week in Holland was great, but being at home again is nice. We missed our pets a lot.
My dad was very surprised, and so was the rest of the family. His birthday was nice, almost all uncles and aunties were there and the weather was great. This made up the hour we had to wait before we could take the bus from Hoorn to my parents and the terrible busride..
The rest of the week was nice and easy… On Thursday we went to Enkhuizen by bicycle, on Friday we went to Alkmaar with my sister and on saturday we went to Petten to walk on the beach with my parents and on Sunday we went to visit my family at the Apenheul.

Ries ordered for fathersday a rocket for his dad. His dad was supposed to build te rocket and when ready to launch it. The rocket is able to reach a hight of about 600 feet.
But Ries’ dad never build the rocket at all. He claimed he doesn’t like fireworks, as the engine is nothing more then kind of a firecracker.
Last Sunday there was almost no wind, so Ries decided to get the rocket and built it himself. I was upstairs cleaning the bathroom and every time I got downstairs all I heared was swearing and Ries calling the rockets all kinds of bad names.
After 2 hours of swearing and building Ries finally finished it.
After dinner we went with Ries’family to a large open field near the IJsselake and the soccergrounds to launch the rocket.
After about 10 mins of reorganising the ignition as the rocket didn’t got launched, Ries finally placed the ignition correctly and his dad was able to launch the rocket.
There was a lot of smoke and the rocket took off so quickly, we weren’t able to see where it went.
At the time we found in the sky it flew allready above the trees of the soccergrounds.
We were no able to find the rocket, all Ries found back was the chute wich landed in the middle of a soccerfield.

Today my sis-in-law, Rowena, called. She had a great announcement: She’s pregnant again!
I am so happy for her and Danny. I mean, it’s maybe a month ago she told us they decided to have another child. So it really happened very quickly.
As the pregnancy is still in the beginning fase Danny and Rowena didn’t tell their 3 year old daughter Sarissa yet. As soon as the 1st 3 months have passed they will tell her.
Tomorrow Ries will finally get his custom made tatoo. It’s a Capricorn, as it’s his sign of the Zodiac. When the tatoo artist finishes the tatoo he will tear the drawing as he made it especially for Ries. I am so curious about the tatoo.
Actually I wanted to come with him, but that’s impossible, as my brother-in-law Sander will come with him. Our car doesn’t have a backseat. Sander is having his excisting tatoo extended tomorrow.
I am working on a new tagboard right now. I found a php script with some great features: ip logging, ip banning, automatic installation of the script, filters and lots more.
I managed to get the script installed on my server, it works, all I need to do is to make a template for my site.
