As I came home from getting the grocaries the other day I found something hanging in the bush near our house wich looked like my nightgown. Thinking: “That’s impossible, that couldn’t be mine” I went home. But as I came home and told Rico I was thinking: “It could only be mine, since it is not totally white anymore, more kinda grey and the thing is so old, I have bought it ages ago in Holland. Couldn’t be someone elses”. So I went downstairs again to get it. Suddenly I realized I had the thing stored in our extra cellar together with my other clothes wich don’t fit in our closet. So I went down into the housecellar to find out that someone broke into our 3rd cellar where we have stored our stuff while we were renovating the apartment. The door was open and a lamp we had stored in it was fallen into the corridor. I went up to get Rico and together we started to investigate what was missing. Only things wich are missing for sure are a bag (an expensive one!) with clothes of mine and probably a bin liner with some more clothes and maybe my old gameboy (the very first edition). The funny thing is, the 3 guitars and a bag full of cd’s they didn’t take. So went to the place where I’ve found my nightgown in the bush, and there on the street where the cars are parked we’ve found 3 otherones as well… I think I’ve stored them in the bag wich is missing and the thieves couldn’t use them…
As far as we can tell no expensive stuff is missing, and we were glad we took out the stereo and gamecube 2 weeks ago.
It is kinda humorous to find your nightgown in the bush, but I am also pissed off. First we had bad luck our stuff got damaged due to the flooding of one part of the housecellar wich damaged Ricos cd’s and some records and my childhoodpics, and now someone broke into our cellar and stole my clothes!!!!
Update:
We just found a sweater back as we went out. It was about 50 metres away from the place where we found my nightgowns…

Last night we had a thunderstorm and it rained very heavily.. This resulted into floods everywhere in Berlin.
In our neighbourhood the Pragerplatz was full of water. The pond wasn’t even to be recognized, all cellars of the houses around the place were full of water. In some of them the water was about 1 meter (39.4 inches) high.
One part of our house cellar got some water as well, and ofcourse it was the part where we temporary store our stuff because of the renovation. So at 11 pm last night we were moving boxes from one side to the other side of the cellar. Fortunately the 2 cellars we normally use were dry. There I stored all my stuff I took with me from Holland.
The damage was not super big, unfortunately a box filled with Ricos records got wet and a box filled with his cd’s. Also some pics of mine got wet…

Last Saturday Pugsley was annoying us again by going on and off the balcony leaving the door wide open. It turned out he needed to poo. Since I still didn’t refresh his cat-tray, i decided to take him and the dog Shanny out.
I turned away from pugsley for 10 seconds to see what Shanny was doing. When I turned back I couldn’t see Pugsley anymore. I lookde and called him for over 10 minutes, but no Pugsley.
Then it slipped into my mind I need to go check the old oilcellar of our house. From our garden he can easily enter it by crawling through a log. But once he is in he cannot get out again, it’s too deep.
When I opened the shutter of the oilcellar and called him, he answered my call by miaowing terribly pityfull. As I don’t know this cellar I immidiately went up to get Fresh to get out Pugsley. He told me Pugsley was lying on the floor and asked me to come and take a look. Then pugsley took off and decided to hide below the oilcontainer in a very small opening.
We couldn’t drag him out, as Pugsley exactly fitted in the opening. I was able to stroke him, but that was al, he didn’t want to come out. We triedwith calling him and with food as well, but no success.. So we decided to leave him alone for a while and hoped he would get out when he got hungry.
At the end of the afternoon we tried again. Pugsley looked terrible. His nose all wet and he was drewling and shaking. He really needed to get out before the evening as it was predicted the temperature could go down to at least -10 degrees celsius (14 degrees fahrenheit). So Fresh took a stick and tried to poke him out. But instead of coming out Pugsley went into the middle of the opening. So Fresh started poking on his ass verry brutal, and it helped!! Very slowely, bit by bit Pugsley finally came out. He really looked terrible, full of dust and spiderwebs and he smelled after oil. But most important, he was ok!!!
At home he started eating like nothing had happened, washed a bit of the dirt off and then took a nice sleep…
