Yesterday, when I arrived at work at about 11:30 am I noticed Karin (a very very annoying colleague of mine) was wearing her wintercoat while she was working at her paydesk.
As the heater in the store was fucked up again it was really very cold in the store. But it was not that cold to wear a wintercoat. And by the way, autumn just started just 3 days ago. Who is wearing a wintercoat in such early stage of autumn?
I didn’t get it why our supermarketmanager didn’t say a thing about it. She really looked so stupid! All customers werw wondering what was wrong with her. Or they thought she was about to leave home..
This was just one of her stupid childishtry to get some attention. I mean last year our manager ordered bodywarmers wich fit our uniforms. Why didn’t she put on one of those?

Yesterday I was talking about going to see my supermarketmanager about me handling 3 divions at the time due to an “ill” colleague and due to holidays.
Well, today I did see him about this issue, and told him I am not capable doing it like this for any longer. So now on Monday afternoon and on Thursday morning an extra colleague will be planned for the paydesk, as these days are busy days at these divisions.
So now I can finish all work at the liqourstore and the service counter.

Today is about the 3rd week my colleague Gerie didn’t come to work because of her injured foot. About 2 and a half weeks ago she bumped her foot onto a wall, and due to that she has hurt her little toe. Ok could happen, I understand it hurts a lot.
But because this injured toe she didn’t come to work for 3 weeks now. She sais the toe is swollen badly, and she can’t wear a shoe.
Well, ok, but she can wear slippers, she comes to the store on slippers, so why can’t she work on slippers? She can do most of her work sitting on a chair. She showed me her toe, and to me it doesn’t look that bad as she claims. She doesn’t want to go see a doctor at all.
Last year I had my foot injured very badly , as I fell while I was horseriding. The horse and me fell down, and my leg got stuck underneath the horse. Because of this my foot was flipped backwards to my ankle. I tore the cap of my big toe joint. Below my foot I had terrible black bruises and my foot was so swollen I had to wear slippers as my shoe didn’t fit. Even though my foot was injured, I went to work every day, I had to go to work by bike (It’s 11 kilometres to get to work.)
Now I need to take care of the liquorstore. Normally that’s not a problem, I know how things work. But I also need to take care of the service counter, and do all ordering for it, I need to do lots of administration and work at the paydesk as well. Yup, it’s holiday in our company. It’s too much work for me, so I really cannot take care the liquorstore completely. I really don’t have time for it!
I am soo really pissed! I told my chief of this, and she agrees on me. She went to see our supermarketmanager about this matter, and all he said was: : “Well, Gerie will return to work if she feels like it”
I think next Thursday, when I will see my supermarketmanager again, I will ask him how he will solve this, as I am not able to do this for any longer. It really makes me so tired. My neck and back are really hurting a lot. If this will continue I might end up home being sick..

Today another annoying day at work with a very annoying colleague of mine, Karin.
In fact, she’s a sweet woman, but way too stressed. And because she so stressed we all need to suffer from it, including all customers.
If there’s just one customer waiting at Karin’s paydesk she grabs the intercom and shouts for Tina or me to open up an extra paydesk just for 1 customer.
She totally freaks out if there’s a small qeue of customers waiting.
She even calls me to open up an extra paydesk when I am actually scheduled to work at the service counter and liquorstore, even if there’s no-one else in the store to fill in for me at the service counter.
And if I am not responding immediately, because for instance I am helping a customer, she doesn’t hestitate to shout for me through the intercom again, and not just for once, no even for twice!
If she needs to know a price of an atricle, or something else, she even manages to call colleagues who left home ages ago.
She even calls customers using the intercom. This is a very stupid example of 2 weeks ago:
A woman paid her grocaries at Karins paydesk and left without taking her receipt. Karin called her back through the intercom, as she wanted to know if the woman wanted to have her receipt. It went like this:
Ding dong…..
“Attention, Ms. who’s standing near the Ms. on the bench, would you like to have your receipt?!!???!!!!”
How stupid a person can be!!!!! I mean if the woman leaves without taking her receipt, she obviously doesn’t want the fucking thing!
She really fucking annoys us a lot!
On Fridays, when she’s off, the admosphere in the store is so different. When she’s around there’s so much tension in the air!
And next week a lot of colleagues are on holidays, wich means we need to get the same amount of work done with less people. She is already fucked up about this “stressful” period. Last year she was terrible, she really behaved herself very rude to some of the part-time colleagues.
I hope I can control myself next 3 weeks and not pissing her off too much. She can really make me soooooo angry!!
I know I must try to ignore her behaviour, but really, if this is going on every day, it’s almost impossible to ignore her.

Today at work I had a busy day again.. As the chief of our liquorstore is on holidays I have to take care of that as well. So I had to take care of the service counter, the liquor store (wich means all administration as well) and I had to work at the pay desk as well today.
I felt like running around like a madman all day. I got really tired of it, every time I was just for a minute in the liqourstore either I had to help clients at the service desk,or I had to go to work at the pay desk.
One of my colleagues even called me for the paydesk if there was only one client waiting at her paydesk.
So now my back akes a lot, as well as all my muscles. I really hate this period!!
I am trying to update liekie.com. I’ve got lots of pics to upload. Today I finally uploaded part 2 of the Korsakoff pics wich were taken over 3 months ago.
But right now I am off to bed as I am having difficulties to keep my eyes open.
