Last night i really slept very badly, so today I am very tired.
After work I was to visit Danny (my brother-in-law) as he’s got his B-day today. When I arrived after a terrible ride on my bike (there was a lot of fucking wind), I found out he and Rowena weren’t at home.
So I decided to pick up some grocaries at the supermarket and go home. In a few minutes I am having dinner, and after that I will go for a sleep.
Tonight we will line up at the postoffice for the Metallica concert tickets. The timing for the presale is really terrible for us. Ries has an evevingshift today, so when he will come home we will leave for the postoffice. Tomorrow we need to go visit my dad as it’s his B-day.
We need to go in the afternoon, as Ries has an early shift on Sunday, so he needs to go sleep very early.

Last night Ries and I found out Metallica are visiting Holland again!!! At December 6 Metallica will perform in the Gelredome in Arnhem.
Coming Saturday at 10 am presale of the tickets will start.
So tomorrow when Ries comes home from work (probably about 10:30 pm) we will line up at the postoffice for the presale of the tickets.
This time we will take some chairs with us as we probably cannot stay in the car. Also take lots of food, booze and coffee with us.
I hopw it won’t be too cold.

It’s been a long time since I’ve blogged last time. Time passed by too quickly and a lot of things happened.
First there was Fields of Rock, the metalfestival on Fathersday. We went to to festival with my sis, Manuela and her b/f, Sander. It was great weather that day. We saw Disturbed, Stone Sour, Marylin Manson and… METALLICA! And ofcourse lots of other bands, but I only liked the ones I mention.
Marylin Manson did a great show! The sound was terrific, he sounded just like on his albums. The singer of Stone sour mentioned the day before he became father for the first time, so it was great the band didn’t cancel.
And ofcourse Metallica was a great experience! We were able to get pretty close to the stage and had a pretty good view. Luckily we had some guys near us who stopped annoying people trying to bumping into the crowd to try to get more close to the stage and people dancing wildly.
At the end of the show Metallica said:”See you indoors in March next year!”. So I am sure they will come back to Europe for another tour and will visit Holland as well!!!
Ries and I went to the Czech Republic for our holidays. We had a real good time. The country is very beautifull and our house was beautifull. The people were very nice, they really wanted to help you even though we had a barrier of language. The culture is ver very beautifull. It’s a pity to see how communism had put such a rich country into poverty.
I hope to upload some pics of our holiday asap, but still got lots of other important stuff to do, so it may take some time.
When we came home from our holidays Ries’ sis Rowena got married to Danny 2 days later, on June 30. They got married on Monday morning 9 am, as at that time it’s free to get maried at the cityhall. Two families sponsored the whole day.
Rowena asked Ries for making photographs, so our weddinggift was a complete weddingalbum. I still need to add some weddingpics in a second album, I hope to finish al pics coming weekend.
I also had a daytrip to Sixflags with Manuela. We had a great time, even though it was raining cats and dogs al day. Sixflags is a rollercoasterpark. It has about 7 or 8 rollercoasters, of wich the Goliath is most terrifying of all. We screamed a lot as the ride was so scary and we really came out very naucious, and were feeling like spinning around.
Last Sunday I finally finished my tagboard and uploaded it to my server. Now I got my tagboard fully under control, so if anyone ever abuse it again I can finally go into action as ip’s are logged.
There are still some small features I would like to change on the tagboard, but so far I am not able to change them.

So last night Ries and I lined up at the postoffice at 11:45 pm. We were the only ones. I made some sandwiches, hot water for instant coffee and I bought sodas to take with us… We also took lots of cd’s, toilet paper and a continental quilt with us.
We stayed in the car and tried to get some sleep, as we were the only ones. It wasn’t comfortable at all. The car is way too small, and was was very cold, even though we had the continental quilt.
Somehow we managed to get some sleep.
We woke up at about 5:15 am. Still no-one there. As we were very cold, I wanted to make us some coffee. Fuck, I left the instant coffee at home, so no coffee, just very cold soda’s and sandwiches.
At 7:00 am still no-one there.
At 8:30 2 boys arrived, but they wanted to buy tickets for Silverchair when I asked if they came for Fields of rock as well.
So I decided to go to the supermarket to buy some instant coffee. The supermarket is near the postoffice. Finally we were able to warm up again.
At 9:00 am 2 other guys arrived and Ries had to go to the toilet very badly.
At 9:45 I decided to go in the postoffice to wait for the presale to start. Finally there were about 10 or 12 people for tickets. But not just for the Fileds of rock festival. Today the presale for justi Timberlake, Annie Lennox and Silverchair started as well.
At 10:00 am the presale started. Finally!!! We all went in and lined up. At 10:05 Ries and I got out being the owners of 4 tickets for Fields of Rock featuring Metallica!!!!
At 10:15 we were at home again. Ries had to run for the toilet…
It wasn’t a comfortable night, but it was worth it!

I just got home from work, will go to bed in 5 mins…
Tomorrow the presale starts for tickets of the Fields of Rock festival at June 15 in the Goffert Park in Nijmegen.
The first edition of this festival featuring Metallica. As they haven’t been here since about 10 years, Ries and I will line up for the presale at 11 pm tonight. The presale will start tomorrow at 10 am .
We will buy 4 tickets. maybe manu and Sander will have the other 2 tickets, otherwise we will sell them again.
So now I will get some extra sleep, as we will probably be up all night. Ries has to work til 10 pm tonight. When he comes home he will wake me up. We will have some coffee and leave for the postoffice to get the tickets.
