Next Sunday Fresh and I will leave Berlin for spending christmas with my family in Holland. Since it’s hard to find someone to take care of our pets at this time of the year, we will take Shanny, our dog with us.
Just like every time we are visiting Holland we are short in time since so many things have to be done before leaving Berlin :s At the beginning of this week I thought I had everything concerning the housekeeping under control. I really hate it coming home in a chaos, so the appartment had to be cleaned, all laundry had to be washed (I am kind of lazy in washing laundry * blush *), christmas shopping had to be done. But now it’s Friday, and when I am looking around I see I must clean again, I am washing the last laundry, need to doo the dishes and after it I need to clean the kitchen, need to buy the last grocaries so I can make some sandwiches for Sunday, we are still wrtiting the last bills for the business so they can be sent to our customers before the end of the year, tonight we have to go to the other side of Berlin so we can give the housekey to someone who will drop by to feed Pugsley, our cat, because we cannot take him with us.
I know, we’ve got tomorrow as well, but we planned to go see Fresh’s family since we’re spending christmas in Holland. So tomorrow is gone as well. It’s a bit stressy right now, but I think somehow we will manage everything…

hello lieki and thankyou for your lovely message, You cannot hide your ip, I wanted to but you can’t, I am registered with http://www.dyndns.com/services/dns/dyndns/ I actually have 2 seperate paid accounts because now I have 2 internet connections with 2 different isps, one uses cable and the other is adsl, anyway, I have some dns hosts and webhops but if someone looks at the source code they will see my host and if they do a whois on my host it resolves to my current ip if i have my cams on, I use 7 cams and I use computers to stream 4 of my usb cams and the 3 wireless network cams don’t use computers, I leave my cams in a fixed position, and I hardly know they are there, and I have broadband with unlimited usage, anyway, it was nice to hear from you, I have read your site and the reasons your cams went off-line, but having cams online should not take up lots of time, just position them somewhere high up where there is a good view etc and then forget about them, ok I will finish here, bye and take care.

I can hide my ipaddress from the sourcecode by using some softeware wich encrypts the sourcecode.
I have found a pice of software to do that some time ago, but I still need to try to work with this software.
Also I need to find out if this Wordpress installation (I am hosting my own Wordpress installation) will take the “advanced” HTML code for webcamstreaming.
Wow, you really got a lot of cams running!!! I’d die for a good Sony ip cam, but unfortunately the price is about 1400 Euro’s, that’s a bit too expensive for a toy :p

By the way, I hope you’ll like the new style of my website, I am kind of proud how I managed to transfer my blog from the CMS Joomla to a Wordpress installation and how I managed to adapt the theme from MangoOrange to my own needs

Liekie, I know you can encrypt the html code which You embed on your site but It can be Decrypted, trust me there are software to do this, anyway, I do not have any important information on any of my computers that server my usb webcams, so I am safe.
The axis cams are good too, Mine were £250 Pounds but worth it and I have a trendnet one that is good also that was alittle cheaper, and my sony camcorder (Sony DCR-TRV270E Camcorder) is excellent too, it has a very excellent picture better that the lastest versions of dvd camcorders, I bought an expensive samsung camcorder not long ago and the picture was poor, you couldn,t control the light very well it was too poor to stream with, I still have, might throw it away,
But I have had my sony camcorder a few years and its excellent, better than a normal webcam.
