Last Saturday we finally went to see Metallica!
We arrived at the Gelredome at 10:45 am. It was pretty cold, but we had enough clothes with us, also some old couch pillows and blankets, lots of food and drinks and hot chocolate!

Although it was pretty cold the day passed by very quickly. Time went faster as 2 years ago when we had wait for the U2 concert.

At the time we were able to enter the stadium, we left all our food, blankets and pillows behind. We only took our drinks with us.

Our early arrival was not for nothing! We’ve made it to the pit! We were standing in front of the stage!
Wooooooowwwww!! It was so great to see all members this close! I was able to study them pretty well, and I could see things you cannot see when they’re on the telly. For instance, James hair is getting grey at the cheeks, I knew James is blond, but I didnd’t know he’s soooo blond!

It was so great to yell and scream “hey!!” and put our arms with 2 fingers in the air when the members of Metallica were standing in front of us!

The concert was really great! We even got 2 guitarpicks from Kirk and Rob!

Next June, 21st they will perform again!! But now in Amsterdam, so a lot closer to home for us. I allready requested a day off, so we will definately go again!
I think we need to go in line at about 7 am then, as the weather won’t be so cold, so peo0ple will show up earlier. Now we’ve stand in front of the stage we really need to stand in front of the stage again, as less is not good enough anymore.
We experienced the best!
